YOUR VILLAGE

Pertisau was first mentioned in 1320 when it consisted of only eight farmhouses. At an altitude of 1,000 m above sea, Pertisau is situated at Lake Achensee, embedded among the rugged mountains of the Karwendel nature reserve. Tourism in this region started with Emperor Maximilian?s hunting castle (today?s ?Fürstenhaus? or Royal Court). In 1887 a steamship was first operated on the lake, which separates two massifs, the Rofan and the Karwendel mountains (both famous nature reserves).

Genuine Tyrolean tradition combined with Austrian hospitality makes this village with its fantastic tourism facilities and hotel infrastructure an ideal venue for conferences and congresses.
